Balikbayan Privilege

Hello,
I am married to a Filipino. If I come to the Philippines, I can stay up to one year without getting a Visa with the Balikbayan Privilege. If I stay for more than six months, do I have to do the 6-month Clearance Check Up required of someone who is there on a tourist visa; or, is that waived for someone who has the Balikbayan Privilege? Thanks for your help!
