To big business - or not

I looked at a few of the "A foreigner farming in the Philippines" videos.

In this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgzVuuMuVZQ
Brian talk about risks with making a TO BIG business, compeeting with mayor's/baranggay captain's or their friends' business, because they have power to not extend/delay "for ever" business permits :(

Such happen to Filipinos too e g
/One Filipinos became so frustrated at political-landowner-trader troika in his home province not leting anyone else develop, so he moved to a city where the power isn't that comcentrated, he told me.
/An other Filipino started a computer sell and repair shop in a town where there were around 10 allready. The new guy was so good at it so within a year only two of the competitors were still open. One of them is friend with the permit handler there, so there were delays step by step by ridicilous "reasons" as e g there were not related to the shop Filipinos peeing at the OTHER side of the street as if that would be a reason to not extend the permit!
(I don't have any contact anymore with them above, so I don't know what happened after that.)

Brian talk about PPROBLEMS.
I had allready thought some about SOLUTIONS, when I have skiped which business ideas can be interesting. This have chance to be solved, I suppouse, by things as:
/Sure not chosing something many local Filipinos can afford to copy, because they will if they can :) not thinking of if there will be enough customers for each.
/Start something they don't have there allready PERHAPS help. But risk it will be copied if they can :)
/Preferingly something they don't have the KNOWLEDGE of. Of my around 10 favorites left to chose from, two are even hard to see what it is when seeing it, not even the workers need to know what it is. Less risk to be stolen too if thieves don't know what it is :) (Theese two need some more research both concerning what need to be told when geting permits and research if they can be made without geting waste bad for the environment.)
/EXPORT or sell to other Phil islands so it don't bother local similar businesses. (Although in some cases it can be a problem to get enough raw material with similar companies to close to each other.)

/And I plan to have a cheap car as Brian, have an ugly house :) and dress as a poor farmer undepending of how much/litle I earn. (But them with power localy can perhaps see anyway if they have insider at BIR. I suppouse less risk the more far from the BIR office.)
