New Korean Govt Covid Test Directive for Flyers

I feel like I had been running a marathon...the Stress! Yesterday late afternoon got an email from Korean Air for non Korean citizens about mandatory Covid swab test documentation that must be posted within 48hours of flight time leaving Manila for Korea, regardless of whether you are just Transiting through the airport.; starts July 20 They had 6 approved hospitals in Metromanila, one in Bagiuo, a few up in Central Luzon and a handful in the Visayas. My husband's flight is on July 24th, 12:20pm; the Test result documentation must show a result after 12:20pm July 22nd. So, all day we were frantically contacting the designated hospitals, all with at least 1 hour average waiting time on the phone, all with unguaranteed test results between 24hour to 1 week of testing, but if they can schedule you in. You get a test done too early and result comes before the 48hours, they will decline it at the airport. So, worry, worry, worry. Finally, Makati Med came through and the Covid Coordinator there arranged a time slot for the test and will make sure the result comes in within the timeframe. P8150!!!! The funny thing is, none of the 4 hospitals (the ones we actually got through) knew anything about this and seems like my hubby is the only one that was inquiring about it. No one checks their email? Or people are in for a rude awakening at the airport starting the 20th.
