Visa overstay

Was wondering opions .Once this was in 2014 i travelling through ililo well borocay to iloilo to catch ferry to cebu but like this weekend easter no ferrys for 2 or 3 days .The girl i was traveling with we had to stay in a small beach resort .2nd day a Americian in whell chair turns up at the motel.Got talking to him apparently he lives of iloilo on small island no power breads roosters was amazed how he could survive there and in a wheelchair he said i was the first aussie he seen in years .Back then i thought he can do it but if you got blacklisted and thinking he be held in prision .. Then few years back me and my asawa went to santo nina island spelling might be wrong of calbayog another americian living of fishing with his pinay ..Im trying say is my asawa was saying see others do it..even as we have a bit there in samar just living of casava .fish think its better to get a 13a visa another couple of years of travell from oz to there for life time there think out wieghs over staying jack
