Irrelevant communication

It happens way too often that members communicate directly with another member on topics that are not useful to other people on the forum. Who wants to read these interpersonal communications. Certainly not me!! I don't understand, I've seen it referenced several times from Peacekeeper, if necessary send private messages (PM) instead. I don't care what John says to Joe or George..... Send private messages instead!! It seems like the same people are always doing this. Why would a newbie who wants to learn about the Philippines, want to read such communication? "Hey George, how's the weather in Spokane today".... Only an example. Sorry, just a pet peeve.
