Countries where my Filipina partner can travel to easily

Hello everyone - hope you are all keeping well wherever this lock-down finds you.

I originally posted this as a reply in the ECQ, MGCQ etc thread. However, posting here as it's own thread in case it will helps any others also seeing alternative options. All constructive country suggestions welcome. Many thanks :0)

I have been living alone here through this pandemic for most of the time - my partner who I was dating is in Manila with her parents and family. Sadly, I timed my arrival in PH badly! Within a couple of months of arrival everything locked-down. I have not seen one beach or even swam in a pool!

Instead of my trip being a chance to get to know the country, travel, meet the lovely Filipino people and date / get to know my on-line partner in person I ended up trapped in the longest lockdown nightmare, like everyone else here.

I chose to remain due to my partner and I felt that the covid situation would have been resolved by now...but sadly not and as some are indicating likely won't be - here especially - any time soon.

I am in my early 40's and miserable being stuck here without being able to get out hiking, running, swimming and surrounded by junk fast food as the only options for food delivery where I am located in Laguna.

I tried to look at Subic but the cost of rentals there are higher than where I lived in Spain - without all the nice facilities and clean beaches of Europe! Crazy!! Bohol was also of interest but I'm unsure if this would be just as bad as all of the Philippines seems to be battling restrictions in different ways and i need excellent internet due to my online meetings

Exploring all countries where it is less restricted AND where my Filipina partner can also travel with me too and Visa is not a huge issue. Mexico, Panama both come up as possible places, however, I have never been to either! It my be stereo-types but my impressions of both of these places are they are quite unsafe with crime, kidnaps, murders? Does anyone have any other suggestions for countries I could research where my Filipina partner would also be able to travel to easily?
