SRRV Visa for Veterans

I am an 61 yr old US Army veteran looking to move to the Philippines in 2022 with my Filipina wife and children. My kids will get dual citizenship. I will arrive arrive on a balikbayan visa. I know I will need my passport, marriage and birth certificates, and my DD 214. Will it be easy enough to process my US criminal background check from the Philippines or should I have it with me upon arrival? Am I missing any other steps or paperwork I might need? Any other suggestion?
