ISO House Sitter OR Long-Term Renter of Fully Furnished Home

Hi everyone,

This is a very unique situation I'm in. I need to move my elderly mother from Angeles City back to the US to live with me, but it won't be for good. Eventually, she would like to return in 5 years or so. Her house and her dog need to be cared for while she stays with me during that time frame.

Should I find a house sitter like on Mind My House or Trusted House Sitters OR should I list her house for rent and bring her dog over to the US as well (hoping her dog will get along with my 2)???

It's so overwhelming since researching for reliable realtors, storage units, moving companies, etc. online have been incredibly LACKING.

Can anyone offer guidance?

Which option would be most feasible to ensuring her home and dog will be in good hands while she's away for at least 5 years?

TIA!
