Siargao Island/Surigao STORM

My friend and her family own a lot of land on Siargao Island. Apparently over the last 10 years many foreigners have bought and built large homes and resorts there. It looks like this storm is going to be a direct hit to the islands and also Surigao City. It appears to be hitting land Thursday afternoon/evening Philippines time. If anyone knows anyone living in that area, I wish them luck.
