Typhoon

Man, I've been in my own Typhoon. 2 years ago, I said "Po, quit your job at Metro, I'll pay you an equivalent allowance". Why have someone I love work 50 hrs a week in a soul-crushing job for what I make in a couple of hours)? "I'll be back to marry you in a few months". Enter Covid.

Attached is a picture of her family domicile that they were proud of. The last communication was they were headed to Cebu Mall for shelter. Happily, they did get funds I sent through WU. I feel guilty and blessed living in a first-world country...my heart goes out to CEBU. They are saying a month for electricity or phone, if lucky? God bless the spirit of the Philippino people and the strength of their family unit. No real point to this...I'm just in shock and wanted to share. No gas, no house no water, no electricity, wet worldly possessions Salamat, guys.
