Bought a car in Iloilo

We purchased a car from Nissan, Iloilo. We bought a Nissan Navara 4x2 Pro X. A pearl white small Pick-Up Truck

We sent the money from our US bank to my sister-in-law's Philippine account ($35,000 USD). The car cost 1,645,000 PHP.. I got a great exchange rate of 58 PHP to the US dollar. We have some extra cash on hand for registration and ins. as well as finishing a little project at the house. We also wanted to make sure we purchased the car before the removal of the 20% excise tax exemption for Pick Ups goes into effect in 2023. Although the legislature has yet to finalize the removal of the exemption, the timing seems right for our purchase, as my wife will be arriving in Iloilo around Nov. 13.

The car is in route from Thailand to Manila and should arrive by Nov. 15.

I was wondering if anyone on this blog has had a similar experience as I have described and whether everything went well for you?
