Upon entry to the Philippines, I know that I will develop intestinal distress due to the unfamiliar (to me) flora and fauna in the water. What medications are best for treating this distress? E.G., immodium or a local equivalent.

I have developed a mild sore throat and runny nose post arrival. I have exhausted my supply of dextromorphan that I brought with. Are there local equivalents for dexromorphan and/or phenylnephrine to consider as decongestants?
