Looking to start a vegetable garden

I'm old and yet a newbie to gardening. I could buy the packets of each seed but there are so many to a packet and I don't need 100's of seeds. I'm just looking for (heirloom seeds) about 10 seeds each of all the vegetables that people normally grow in their gardens. I will pay postage and handling.
The climate is so nice and I have always wanted to have a garden (well I always wanted to be a farmer but couldn't afford it). So now at the great age of 70yrs I am going to give gardening a try. I don't have a list. Not sure what will grow on our property (when we get there in a few months time).
Oh, I thought I'd ask here. I also asked on Facebook. I contacted the Dupay Seed co. on FB too, if all else fails I will buy them there.
