Hemodialysis

Veteran here. I went to ManilaMed initially, the ER as per their own Nephrologists recommendation. ER wanted to keep me! I kept saying "All I need is Dialysis!" Took us 12 long hours, lots of tests, blood draws, xrays, they kept padding the bill! At the end it cost me P50,000 (well the US Government) pays the bill as this is a FMP hospital. Then they scheduled me for two more days. Now I am in Bacolod City. We could not find a Dialysis Center right away. Finally got one, instead of three treatments a week, I am possibly going to have to live with two. I had to go thru the same thing again, blood draws, xrays, Covid test... I go to the Dialysis Center today, first time. This one is not crowded to capacity, but one other was. ManilaMed too seemed to be full. Covid has really taken it's toll here. Well we have to be here, my wife has to do some things in person for some reason and couldn't do them from the USA. I offered to let her come here alone... However; I am here now. Looking forward to starting a vegetable garden. I love the weather, the people, the almost funny way people act here. "Welcome to the Philippines"...:)
