Need advice urgently

Howdy folks.
Made a rash decision to move to the Phil’s after a 2 week holiday Have sold everything up and am moving in the coming weeks.

But, in my haste. I know nothing! What do I do for visa, so I just keep extending?
Where to live that isn’t too rustic but doesn’t cost a fortune.

God there are probably so many other questions I need to ask and I’m just clueless. Impulsiveness and mid life crisis combined to make this problem child.

Need all the advice I can get.
