Thinking of Moving

I am thinking of moving to the Philippines, I have been looking on line ( I know I would be better off waiting ) for housing in Iloilo and Dumaguete area and the general cost of living there, so here is my question, is it possible to live in these areas, also the Islands they are located on, for $700.00 to $800.00 a month total?
