Getting close to the golden age, when I am no longer a slave to the alarm clock, and wearing myself out on the treadmill of work! I have visited PH on a number of occasions, and have lived in the Far East on and off over the past 30 years but only the bigger cities. Gone are the days of big cities so looking for somewhere smaller out in the provinces.

Not really a beach lover but do like a warm climate. Enjoy the outdoors, managed to survive typhoons and earthquakes

I am planning an exploratory visit soon to my top 10 possible locations to live, or maybe even consider moving around once there, and hope that I may do it all in an initial 30 day visit.

There appears to be much debate as to what is considered a reasonable budget so the one thing I am thankful for is that my pension should put me in the comfortable bracket by most standards.
