Affordable areas around Lisbon

Hello all. I am moving to Lisbon next week from London for work. I'll be working at tge Colombo business centre and i wont mind commuting around 30/45 minutes. Plan to get a car but wont have one for a few months. Looking for recommendations for affordable/safe areas to look to rent a house/apartment long term. Any suggestions? C
