Adding name to a lease

I have visited Lisbon three times and am interested in initially living in the Avenida Novas area for the first year or so in Portugal. However, the prices of long-term rentals have become unreasonably high for what is being offered. I am now wondering if it is possible to add my name to a friend's lease for my D7 lease requirement. She recently received her residency card and has a three-bedroom in the area I am interested in.

Would it be acceptable for the D7 application if I returned to Lisbon to add my name, and the landlord agreed?
