Renewing Temporary Residency

With the end of SEF, the renewal of residency process has been changed somewhat. My spouse and my upcoming scheduled appointments in October have been canceled and I have to navigate a new online system in order to schedule them. I know I have to schedule through the siga app or website with the IRN entity. My question is, do I need to login to do this? To login, a social security number is required. We were not required to get social security numbers as we have no plans to work. Does this mean I now have to register with social security? I am hoping realspear sees this and has an answer...
