Residency Visa

FYI: I submitted my residency Visa (D7) application through the Newark NJ consulate on June 1. I still do not have my visa (and my partner just retired from that consulate and all the workers there know me). They have no control or input as to when the visa gets issued. I am flying to Portugal on Aug 5 (permanent move) with only my passport. When the visa is finally approved I will have to send my passport back to Newark so it can be updated with the visa. Hopefully that will happen soon (before my 90 day deadline). Good luck to all!
