Cost of Living/general re Qatar

Hi

I have been offered a position in Doha and am finding it difficult to get good accurate information on the cost of living.

I am married with 3 children - 2 of school age. The package includes fully furnished accommodation and all the standard expat benefits (medical/relocation/interest free car loan etc). However, it is the cash costs of living in Doha more than anything else which is proving to be difficult to ascertain. What will it cost an average family a month to live? Any information in (local currency) would be gratefully appreciated!!

What are schools like for 6 and 8 year old girls?

Also although I have been offered the job, my wife is a qualified teacher what are the opportunities for her to pick up a job even part time?
