I am in the process of negotiating an offer in qatar, and would potentially move there soon in Feb 09. I am requesting some help from expats there, as to the following:
- Cost of cars. We have 3 kids, and it would be nice to get our van with us... is it worth it, do you have to pay duty to get it in , alternatively are cars there more expensive than canada.
- the place of work will be downtown, any recommendations for living any specifics about current costs for a good neighborhood, villas, houses ? how about traffic, if it okay to rent outside the core and drive down, do you need two cars ?
