The International High School of Cluj is answering the needs of many expatriate and Romanian families looking for an excellent education for their children by opening the first school offering Cambridge IGCSE and A level subjects outside Bucharest.
Winner of the Dinu Patriciu Foundation 'school of the year' in 2009, the high school builds on the foundation of a highly successful kindergarten, primary and middle school provision.
This week the school will be signing a unique partnership with The University of East Anglia which will guarantee students a university place after graduation if they meet the minimum entry requirements for a particular course. The school is also looking to form further partnerships with American colleges and universities and is already working closely with the Fulbright Advising Center in Bucharest to give students the best chances of entering international universities.
High School Principal, Simon Parker, is confident that the school will provide international and Romanian students with a dynamic and intellectually challenging learning environment which will prepare them for 21st century global citizenship.
