romanian-american family moving from USA to Romania

Hi!
I am Romanian and my husband American. We have 2 kids born in the states and we are thinking about moving to Romania in about 5 years.
What kind of income do you guys think we need/month to live in the areas you guys currently live in? What's the average rent? Or housing cost for a 3-4 bedroom house? I know everything is smaller there...
What's the cost of living? Utilities?
I like Cluj but we have family in Craiova.. I don't particularly like Bucharest.
Are there any Americans who opened businesses out there? My husband doesn't speak Romanian and he works here as an operator in oil refinery. SO he makes good money but he works too many hours and we are trying to reduce the stress in our lives. I don't know what kind of job he could possibly find there but we are brainstorming businesses ideas.
