Life in jabail

Hi everyone,My name is Wendy. My husband has been offered a job in jabail and we will be moving out around March 2014 with our 7 year old daughter.
We will be living in Al Jude 2 compound.
I am feeling nervous of the unknown but am also very exited about our new adventure that we have to look forward to...
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on Schools,what standard the housing is on this compound,and what's on the compound in terms of things to do? Also I've heard different views on women going out of the compound alone.Can I do this to go shopping?Any advice would greatly be appreciated!Wendy
