Hello, I am interested in moving in about one year to Riyadh. I have hosted Saudi students learning English, and would like to see what their home is like.
I will likely find a job teaching English, as I have been teaching for many years, and will be working on getting certified to teach English.
I want to move with my young son who will be 7 at the time. Our friends live and work there, which is why I hope to live in that area. However, one of our friends is from Dammam, and the other has suggested that Bahrain would be an easier transition.
I know there are compounds, but I was more interested in living with a Saudi family who might know English and have young kids.
Thoughts and suggestions are most welcome, including any feedback from other American women who have moved there.
Life is too short to wait! Happy New Year everyone!!!
