Hi everyone,
I'm a US citizen considering a job in Saudi with AlSalam Aircraft Company. It is for C-130 backshop Sr. Avionics position. I have a family; a Wife, a son who will be 2 in August, and we do have pets, but were thinking about having family or friends watch them if it is too much trouble to bring 2 dogs and a cat over. If I take the job, it would probably only be 1 year, then we would be going back to the States. Does anyone else here work backshop maintenance for C-130s for AlSalam? Can you describe the work environment a little?
Also, I understand my wife and son would have to wait 3 months to move to KSA with me, but would I be able to travel back to the states to help her fly over with our young son? That is one thing she is apprehensive about, and so am I, because I understand how challenging it would be to fly that long with a toddler as active as ours.
Does anyone know what city and compound I would most likely be staying in? I know these are a lot of questions, but I sincerely appreciate any help.
This job has the chance to change our lives around financially, so I am very anxious to know as much as possible.
Thank You,
Tom
