This is how it started and ended...
Into my third year in the K.S.A. I came back from a semester break (Jubail) After two days coming back, I get a letter that my contract was cancelled. No reason given,written or otherwise from any of the personnel at the Royal Commission (RC) My immediate supervisors and colleagues had no explanation and even just as perplexed as I was. I spent a week asking why and who is responsible. NO REASON. My closest associate in the Saudi admin, could not (would not?) even say. There was a written notification that came in the local immigration office that I had to leave the country ASAP. I had an unpaid loan (I showed and even handed a copy of such to the RC) and credit cards. I had to immediately sell my vehicle and get my apt. checked and passed as acceptable. My employee record was exemplary and even got a top raise for the next contract. Finally, I was driven to the airport ( close Saudi admin. accompanied me) and made sure that I entered and was put through immigration..off I went.
It has been 9 months later. My third contract ended in May. I left on a final exit visa. There is no mark or stamp stating I was deported. Question: Could I go back to work at another university, in another part of the country? I have had a new passport issued ( Yes, I know electronic fingerprints) several months ago.
I didn't break my contract. They did. What options do I have?
