Nursing licensure from US to UK

Hello all,

for anyone who is non-US military: how long did the process of applying to the nursing/midwifery council take?
what were the fees?
is it easier to utilize an attorney?
what was the testing process like?
what is the salary like? for reference, I make 93k USD now as a nurse practitioner (advanced practice nurse); however I also work about 50h per week with 2 weeks vacation. I've done some searching and it seems like the salaries are considerably lower.
if you are a nurse/NP, what is your salary?
