Immigrating and Citizenship

1. We understand that one must reside in Scotland for at least 5 years before being considered for citizenship. Once citizens, would the free education benefit apply to our granddaughter? We are young grandparents, thanks to a son that didn't pay attention to my lessons on birth control, but she is the love of our life and has stated that she would like to move to Scotland with us when she reaches the age of 18.

2. Is it really as difficult as some suggest to relocate to Scotland?

3. Are there particular companies/services that help with the immigration process? We have started the process with UK Global Visa Services but have not advanced to the point of paying fees. Does anyone have experience with this company?

4. Does anyone have any other advice they would like to provide? We would appreciate any help we can get with this process. It certainly has given us MUCH MORE empathy for all the people who have immigrated to the US. When living in the country of your birth, you don't give it a thought. We have so many immigrants, we just assumed it must be easily managed.
