Too old to move?

I am 73, retired and have a retirement income in the low 40's, single, retired educator/college instructo . Keep thinking about leaving the US as it is not a comfortable place to be any longer. Am I nuts at my age? Have lived in Spain (long ago) and was fluent - Castilian Spanish. There is also my ancestry of Scotland - grandparents and mother born there. I am planning to visit Scotland to see what it is like, part of my bucket list as well, and perhaps revisit Spain for the 3rd time. I am a quiet person and is why Spain is a second consideration to Scotland.. I feel Canada would be too expensive for me. Not sure Mexico would be quiet enough. Would be interested in some feedback, and right now just exploring those thoughts that keep haunting me... From what I have read most are very happy they left the US. I loved Spain, and almost married except Franco was dictator. I love hot tea and cold rainy weather so Scotland is in my genes too! And yes, I drink my tea with sugar and milk. Exploring and researching my thoughts that just keep returning. It is this that I am posting.
