Help - Moving to Singapore or not

Hi I need some help. I may be moving to Singapore for a job. I'm currently living in Aust (but I have been living overseas before). I want some advice on whether Singapore is easy to adapt to. I am in my mid-thirties, single professional and not really into clubbing all the time. The job will involve a lot of travelling. I would like an environment where I can meet like-minded people and establish a social group.

Do you think moving to Singapore is good idea or should I move to Sydney (currently in Melbourne)?
