Moving 2 Singapore from US

We are moving from US 2 Singapore with family. Need few tips from experts living in there.

Can someone suggest and good school with Indian syllabus in Singapore for grade 8 and also what is the academic year pattern. Also about the house rent in the same location near to school.

Would be useful if someone can brief me about the lifestyle, the commuting mode to office, I hear from many people unlike in US it’s not necessary for a family to own a car to commute, such that the MTR infrastructure is so accessable.pl advice. Also how are job opportunities in IT industry?
