US Tax Deductions when you become Singapore PR

Hi Everyone,

I arrived in Singapore about 1 year ago from the U.S., and my wife and I are looking at becoming Permanent Residents (PR). However, does anyone know how that will affect the deductions that I can take on my U.S. taxes? For instance, as an Expat, I can deduct my housing expenses in Singapore on my U.S. taxes. If anyone has any information, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

Miguel
