Moving to Standton (johnesburg) from India -- Need info

Hi All,
Recently a consultancy processed a work permitt visa for me. I am planning to travel to standton in the last week of may ( with my wife and no kids).
The consultancy offered 330K Rands per year excluding accomadation & transport.
Can you provide the basic info like this PKG is sufficient? considering the cost of living in standton. ?
