schools in spain

we want to relocate to spain as a familey by august 04. at the momment we are trying to decide upon an area and have narrowed it down to three regions, Alicante, Cadiz and Santander.we have two children, both boys, aged 7 and 5 and wish to integrate fully with the spanish. this move will only be successfull if the children are happy therefore any advice/experience on schools would be most appreciated as this will help deterine the area. we would like to live near other expats of all nationalitys and realise we are a long way from acheiving our goal at the momment. also any advice on jobs would be of help. although currently a lecturer in health and safety, i am a plasterer/roofer by trade but also have hotel/bar experince. to be quite honest we will do any type of job to live in spain !. many thanks,
