Just moved to Bilbao, Spain

I came to Bilbao to do an international internship and I was wondering (from everyone's experience) what the best way to meet people is? I'm 23, am unmarried with no kids, so I really want to meet people (of all ages) to explore the city with and I find it hard because my Spanish is at a beginnger's level and not many people here speak English. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.
