How tough is it to get into the english speaking private schools?

Hello,
I'm moving to Barcelona in August with my son who is about to turn 15. He's a pretty terrible student, lack of focus,etc... I'm worried as we've always been public school people and haven't had to go through a admissions process before. He is a good kid, just not great with academics, I hope that this opportunity - in a private school will help him... that is if he can get in. Any tips or advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated! - THANKS!
