How much tax will I pay in Barcelona at my new job?

Hi, I have just accepted a job in Barcelona and I'm wondering what my net salary after paying taxes will be? From what I can tell Spain's income tax seems pretty simple to calculate but I was kinda surprised by how high it was.

I tried these calculators to estimate my burden:

According to these calculators I'd be getting around €2,400 after paying taxes on a salary of €40,000. Are these accurate estimations?

I've heard Barcelona is quite expensive, is this salary enough to live well in Barcelona?
