I have a preexisting condition that prevents me from getting health insurance directly from insurance companies. I know you can get around the visa requirements by omitting some details and then not using the insurance once you have the visa, but what if you need the coverage?
I don't want to uproot my family then get over there and find I can't afford the healthcare and that I have put the visas of the rest of my family in jeopardy because I fudged on my visa requirements.
I've heard that you can get health insurance without a medical questionnaire through the banks but I have not been able to get confirmation that this is possible.
Our visa appointment at the consulate is coming up soon and I am getting very discouraged.
Anyone have experience with the banks?
