Working family wants to move to Spain

HI,
I am a Security Officer with Princess Cruises and I want to move my family to Spain. I still have about 7 years left before I retire and my salary does not change no matter what country I live in. Its about $60 K per year. I have additional income of a rental property which makes me about 700 per month. I work 3 on and 3 off the ship. My wife and 12 year old will need a long term visa.

Which one do you recommend and why? My wife will not need to work, especially if that makes the visa process more difficult.
