Where in the South of Spain

My partner and I are planning to move to Spain, possibly to the Costa Blanca, but we are still undecided. We are both in the process of retiring and moving to Spain. We are open to starting to live there on long holidays and then establishing our residence in Spain, where we can find new friends, and benefit from beautiful weather. We currently live in the UK.
