Considering moving to Sri Lanka

Hi there. I am new to EE. In light of recent events in Sri Lanka it seems that a more peacefull island will follow. I am looking into moving my family to Sri Lanka in the next 2 years. Where can I find information regarding immigration laws etc?
I am financially independent but would still seek to do "something" - what are the laws regarding expats acquiring property and starting a business? Are there any restrictions I should be aware of? I would love to hear from anyone who has already achieved my object. Also - am I right in thinking that now that the Tigers have been defeated after 26 years of civil war - that there will be less cause for concern viz the security situation.....
