im moving to sri lanka- how do i do this?

can anyone please help me? im i want to move to sri lanka with my boyfriend and 1 year old son and 2 dogs!! i would like to buy a property in kalutara and live permanently . how do we do this? what are the requirements? can anyone give advice on moving there and what we have to do please? also if anyone knows any houses for sale in kalutara please let me know! :)) we have been there before and have some sri lankan friends there but i would appreciate advice from expats please x would we be better to find jobs or start our own business? any tips or advice would be fantastic !! many thanks
