buying and maintaining an apartment in Sweden

We are a binational couple (Swedish/EU-citizen) living abroad. We are looking into the opportunity to maintain a second home in Sweden.
So we are researching the possibilities and conditions. Can anyone help us with the following info?
A) Does anyone in the forum have experience with acquiring an apartment when returning from abroad to Sweden? Can you share your experience with us?
B) What is the procedure, financial and legal situation to buy and maintain an apartment in Sweden for a Swede returning home?
B) Could we sublet the place for the time we are not using it and what are the conditions?
