Friends in Geneva / fencing club

Hello! I'm a French woman and I have lived overseas for the last 8 years (Ghana, Madagascar, Lebanon, UK, Denmark, Kenya). I really enjoy meeting international people. I'm going to move to Geneva in March 2005, and I would love to meet some expats there: are there some expat clubs in Geneva? where is it possible to meet foreigners / international people? I enjoy jazz clubs, going out with friends, sharing a nice dinner and some good wine (!!), I also like skiing/snowboarding, and fencing (does anyone know a good fencing club?). But I know nobody in Geneva, and I would be so happy ;-) to meet some friends quickly! THANK YOU so much in advance for your advices, and if any of you is up for a drink, let me know!
