Moving to Switzerland

My wife and I are thinking about moving from Ohio, USA to Switzerland. Any advice or suggestion on what we need to take into consideration? She is Swiss/american and speaks german, Swiss German and will be able to work immediately. I am unsure about my status, it is my understanding that I am eligble for a B permit since I'm married to a swiss. Is this accurate? If so, do I have to have an employment contract and B permit secured prior to moving?
