Hi. I've got the job (Zurich) and now need to make the move and I'm finding a little difficult than before.
I'm currently living in Ireland and the move over here was easy as you would have expected (same language, I'm British), also find a place seemed much easier.
I'm aware of homegate.ch and it's good resourse, but is there any others. The cost of living is also quite high here in Dublin so accomadation is often shared. This means you can club your things together, split bills, have a bigger place and don't have to live alone. On Irish sites like draft.ie 90% of offers are sharing. This was perfect for me, but can't anything like this for Zurich. Does it simply not exist? or am I not looking in the right place?
All advice with finding a place is apprecated and of course would love to hear of anyone who knows of a place I could share on arrive.
Last quick question. My work will be based in Zollikon, what can anyone tell me about this area (is it expensive? where is best to live near-by and easy to get too).
Like most people who post on this site, they are new to a move abroad, don't speak German and are a little scared at the prospect, so any help is really apprecited.
