Advice for moving to Switzerland

Hi,
I've recently been offered an Engineering job in Baden and am preparing to move from England to Switzerland. I am however unsure of where I should live. I'd appreciate any advice about where would be good to move. I think Zurich may be more suited to me however I'm aware it's expensive to live there. To give a little more information about myself, I'm a 24 year old Engineer from the UK. I enjoy sports as well as socialising and going out. My German is reasonable and I think I'll be good enough to get by until I get more proficient. Any advice would be much appreciated!
